I continue to stitch this large panel on a daily basis...all hand stitching as my needle guides me....I add extra scraps of lace and fabric as I stitch....

This lovely photo was taken by my brother Roy whilst walking near Heartswood Forest at the weekend...particularly poignant....because his new heart valve is one year old today!

I found these vintage items - a hand stitched collar and a beaded waistcoat on the EG Sales Table at our Stitch on Saturday meeting....I gently washed both articles and here they are looking sparkling....

Amphitheatre - St Albans - 'Les Mis' Performance

A pleasant summer's afternoon which revealed an amazing performance by the students of ActNow Performing Arts Academy in the ancient Roman Amphitheatre in St Albans - and I so enjoyed being there to hear my grandson Ollie sing.....a great permance indeed. Proud moment....

Wonderful Venue

Such a wonderful venue for a textile exhibition....'Curiouser and curiouser and curiouser' - and I wasn't disappointed when I stepped inside. 02 'OTT' an Essex based Textile Group exhibited the most amazing artworks based on Alice in Wonderland.
