So fortunate to have such caring family and friends...

Now back to the dentist and the doc! It's just one of those weeks....next week will be wonderful...fingers crossed!

Lace remnants

On this small wall hanging I've used tiny scraps of lace and cotton fabric with buttons and stitch added....the hanging mechanism is yet to be added. The script button was bought from Sheena Spacey who makes the most wonderful ceramics and other buttons were found from my mother's button box. Many of the lace snippets were sent to me by my friend Clare.

I've called this piece 'One, two buckle my Shoe' - based on the origin of the nursery rhyme which stems from lacemaking - apparently!?

Happy Stitching everyone - Jill
