Joyce's 100th Book

Several members  of Hertfordshire Embroiderers Guild each embroidered a 2" square which was then included on the front, back and inside pages of this book to commemorate Joyce's 100th Birthday in June. I finished assembling this book last week - it will be on display at the weekend at Chiswell Green.embroidery by Gwenda.

I know that Joyce will be absolutely thrilled with this book - she taught me beading around 40 years ago - and I ended up with a beautifully beaded belt for an evening dress.

A beaded epaulette made by Joyce for an Embroiderers' Guild competition is now part of the Guild's collection - a wonderful achievement.
