Stitch - Moonlight Moments

Posted by jilltextileart on January 25, 2015 at 10:15 AM

I enjoyed making this kantha stitched panel from oddments of fabric I found at home, from  our EG SalesTable and Charity shops! Heavily stitched yet a joy to make. Instructions on how to make this panel can be found in Stitch with the Embroiderers' Guild magazine.....published this week January 2015 - Issue 93. Helen's beautiful work can also be seen in the same Issue on page 25  see photo below.... Helen is an expert at Colonial Knots!

Congratulations to you Jill, and also to Helen, on being featured in 'Stitch' Magazine. I thought that your article was clear and concise and could be easily followed by anyone wishing to make a similar stitched panel. Which, incidentally, is absolutely beautiful - I bet it is gorgeous to the touch too - looks lovely and soft.
Now I must go and find 'Colonial Knots' in my stitch dictionary!
xx Clare
