Thank you for your note. In a moment of madness I filled in a ucas form and applied for the textile degree.......I'm sorting a portfolio (with the help of my lecturers) and will be pleading my case on 8.2.10. One of those things that seemed like a good idea at the time. Little bit excited, big bit wondering what on earth am I doing!

I'm doing a part time art and design course at Bournemouth and after looking at my work it was suggested I look into textiles. My first thought was, what sewing......(I'm 43 and seem to be a rather late developer) I spent the afternoon in the textile department and felt like I was in Aladins cave so much going on. I found your site while searching textile artist and thoughly enjoyed looking at your work, very inspiring althought its still early days I do seem to be heading in the textile direction, its amazing how clear things become after someone points them out to you... take care and good luck for the future.
