Today I visited the Boro Exhibition at Somerset House in London. A wonderful exhibition showing rare Japanese indigo patched textiles which appear to transcend their origins - to become exquisite objects of abstract art.

so thrilled to spot Mr Kingfisher at Verulamium Lake this afternoon....he was sitting there posing - or maybe just basking in the sun. Such a beautiful day.

Two huge books for my collection.....love my Kindle but oh how I love the beautiful silk cover of the Textile Book - it feels wonderful....just had to share this with you all....

I bought this cute little mouse, made by Peach, whilst at The Selvedge Fair in November. I gave it to my daughter, Suzanne, for Christmas. She loves it.

Time to remember........
This lovely photo was taken by my brother Roy whilst walking near Heartswood Forest at the weekend...particularly poignant....because his new heart valve is one year old today!
